Selling Requirements, Pricing & Terms
Please review the information below before submitting.
This helps determine if we are a good fit and saves time on both sides.
Who This Is For
Uncle Nick’s Toy Venture works best with sellers who are looking to downsize a collection, clear out space, or sell items they’ve inherited, without the hassle of listing, packing, and shipping items individually.
If you are looking for a straightforward sale and understand that items are purchased for resale, we are likely a good fit.
How Our Pricing Works
We are a reseller and purchase individual items and collections below retail value as a reseller.
Our offers are based on recent sold listings (primarily eBay), not active listing prices.
As a full-time business, there are multiple costs involved in reselling, including selling fees, payment processing fees, shipping costs, taxes, storage, and the time required to list, manage, and sell items.
Because of this, our offers are typically below full market value. Most offers generally fall in the 20%–50% range of recent sold prices, with many items around the 40% range, depending on:
-
Condition
-
Completeness
-
Demand
-
How long the item may take to sell
Higher percentages may occasionally be paid for rare or high-demand items. Lower-value, incomplete, bulky, or slower-moving items will fall on the lower end.
We do not provide price checks, appraisals, or general valuation services.
If you are only looking to find out what your items are worth, or are trying to get full retail value, selling items individually may be a better option.
Collection Value & Condition
Collections are evaluated as a whole. A few higher-value items do not determine the value of an entire lot.
Complete items with original accessories are strongly preferred and typically receive higher offers. Incomplete or mixed parts may significantly reduce value or be declined.
Organized collections (items grouped with their accessories) may receive stronger offers than unorganized or mixed bins.
Important Expectations
We are only looking for serious sellers who are genuinely considering selling their items.
Due to high submission volume, we are not able to review collections for individuals who are only seeking pricing information or general value estimates.
What Happens Next
After submitting, we review your photos and details. If your items are a good fit, we will reach out with an offer or request additional information.
Due to submission volume, not all submissions will receive a response.
What We Buy
Uncle Nick’s Toy Venture specializes in collectible toys with real resale value, primarily vintage toys from the 1960s through early 2000s, along with select earlier collectibles.
In general, we do not purchase items that typically resell for under $20 individually, unless they are vintage toys or action figures that can be grouped into collectible lots.
If your items include Beanie Babies, loose Hot Wheels, modern Star Wars figures, junk-era sports cards, or bins of random toys from the 2000s, your submission will likely be declined.
