Toys have been a lifelong passion for me, starting with the toy tractors gifted by my grandfather and my love for Thomas the Train. By age four, action figures like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers had become a central part of my world.
My childhood was filled with not just the toys but the brands themselves - shirts, VHS tapes, bedsheets, and more. Though I parted ways with much of my collection as I grew older, a Marvel Legends Star-Lord figure reignited my enthusiasm as an adult. From that moment, toy collecting transformed from a nostalgic hobby into a full-blown passion, encompassing both modern action figures and vintage favorites like TMNT and Power Rangers.
Today, my collection spans lines such as Marvel Legends, G.I. Joe, DC Mafex, Street Sharks, and countless others, blending cherished childhood memories with modern innovations.
The name of my business, "Uncle Nick’s Toy Venture," is inspired by my role as an uncle to four amazing nephews, whose love for toys has fueled my dream of creating a business that celebrates nostalgia and imagination. Through Uncle Nick’s Toy Venture, I aim to share my passion with others, whether by helping collectors find the perfect piece, rekindling childhood memories, or inspiring the next generation of toy enthusiasts.
My ultimate goals include opening a toy museum where people of all ages can relive their favorite memories, creating my own action figure line that embodies creativity and play, and giving back to the community by donating toys to children in need.
Additionally, I’m committed to using my platform to raise awareness about mental health by sharing strategies for managing depression and anxiety. I believe toys have the power to spark joy, foster creativity, and bring people together, and I’m dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact—one figure at a time.
